Frequently asked questions about applying to Butula TVC

How long does it take to process my application?

Applications are typically processed within 5-10 working days. You will receive a confirmation email or SMS once your application has been reviewed. If successful, you will be issued an admission letter with instructions on how to proceed with registration.

What if I don't have my KCSE certificate yet?

You can upload your KCSE result slip instead of the certificate. If you don't have either, you can submit a letter from your secondary school confirming your results, or upload a screenshot of your KUCCPS/KNEC portal showing your grades. Contact us if you need further assistance.

Can I apply for more than one course?

Yes! You can indicate a second preference in the "Additional Information" section of the form. However, please note that admission is subject to availability of slots and meeting the entry requirements for each course.

Is there an application fee?

No, there is no application fee — applying is completely free. However, once you are admitted, there is a non-refundable admission fee of Ksh 500 to be paid during registration.

How will I know if I've been admitted?

You will receive an SMS and email with your admission status. Successful applicants will receive an admission letter with details on reporting dates, fees payable, and required documents. You can also check your status through our Student Portal.

Can I apply if I'm a transfer student from another college?

Yes! Transfer students are welcome. Please include details of your current institution in the "Additional Information" section, and we'll guide you through the transfer process. You'll need to provide transcripts and a transfer letter from your current college.
